08 Presidential Candidates, Political Analysis

Consider Gov. Mike Huckabee, an effective Arkansas governor who is running for President on the GOP ticket. Although not a forerunner right now, the absence of quality conservatives among the early leaders, with McCain, Romney, and Giuliani getting most of the early attention and money, could change once people start to learn who they really are. This blog will be dedicated to a candidate-by-candidate analysis on the issues.  Some posts will focus on profiling a particular candidate while others will compare the field on a particular issue or closely related issues.  Comments are welcome.  I will also post links occasionally to the polls and news articles of interest to show whether candidates are having success or not.  Last I will link to critiques of the candidates by others. 

All comments, again, are welcome, but personal attacks on anyone other than a candidate will be removed as will any post with foul language.
