Giuliani out of touch and McCain under fire

Ex-mayor Rudy Giuliani and primary candidate for the GOP nomination was asked today whether he knew the price of bread, milk and gas.  Gas he was in the neighborhood on with a guess of 2.89.  Milk, however, he guessed 1.50 a gallon.  http://www.al.com/ap/stories/index.ssf?/base/politics-0/1176239672283260.xml&storylist=topstories

Another GOP candidate, John McCain, was criticized today on two counts.  One, by Democrat Senator and primary Presidential candidate Barack Obama, for allegedly overstating progress in Iraq.  Second, McCain is still planning on appearing on the Imus radio show after Imus came under fire for making racy remarks against the Rutgers female basketball team.  Obama’s criticism echoes that of a CBS reporter from a few days ago, who allegedly laughed rudely during McCain’s press conference when McCain talked about his experiences in his visit to Iraq.
